East Tamaki Real Estate with Richard White

Selling in East Tamaki

East Tāmaki is a suburb of two halves. It’s the largest industrial precinct in Auckland, home to around 2,000 businesses and the Highbrook Business Park. Highbrook was once Sir Woolf Fisher’s Ra Ora Stud, and it got its own motorway interchange in 2007. Alongside all that business activity sit growing residential neighbourhoods such as Dannemora, East Tāmaki Heights and Flat Bush.

There’s history here too. Te Puke o Tara (Smales Mount) was once a pā site, St John’s Church on East Tamaki Road dates from 1862, and the Fo Guang Shan Temple has been a local landmark since 2007. Local schools include Point View School, Willowbank School and Botany Downs Secondary College.

For sellers, that means a wide pool of buyers: families wanting space and good schools, and people who want to live close to where they work.

Auctions and appraisals with Richard

Richard White has worked in Auckland real estate since 2009 and is Branch Manager and Auctioneer across Harcourts East Tamaki, Botany and Howick. His focus is clear advice and a well-run process from appraisal to settlement.

One of the biggest advantages of an auction is certainty. Once your reserve is met and the hammer falls, the sale is unconditional. You know the deal is done and can plan your next move like a cash buyer. Richard will explain how that compares with other methods so you can make an informed choice.

Your first step is a free market appraisal, with a clear and honest read on your home’s value in the current market.
